i feel so silly, but...
I am two steps into making a friendship this semester! Hah!
My journalism 3 class let out early again today so I went to my Politics of Poverty classroom half an hour early to get more reading done for my Music of Latin America and the Caribbean class done.
I entered the building through a different entrance and was a bit disoriented but was pretty sure I was closer to my classroom than last...

after going to each of my classes once, i decided:
Making friends in the classes is going to be a lot harder than I expected
Getting all A’s will definitely be difficult
I am going to go all out for class participation
I won’t let myself fall behind in work (except for reading this 245 page novel due tomorrow that was posted on Saturday. Screw that.)
I’m going to make sure I have gum or something to chew if I start falling...
i forgot what homework nights were like.
and how good it feels to have accomplished something.

all of a sudden, my week is packed.
Tomorrow I have to print out the ‘novel’ I have to read about Tango dancing for my music class before going to work from 1 to 5 p.m. After that, we’re having people over for Chinese food, Mahjong and a movie and, at some point, I’ll write the two articles I have due for Monday.
Monday I work at boYo from 11 to 5 p.m. and have to make sure my articles are finished and...
took over the kitchen table to do work.

first awkward morning with the boys.
Walking back and forth down the hall, hoping whoever was in the shower would be done.
Racing into the bathroom when it was empty.
Having Matt come in shirtless while combing hair.
Awkward small talk while brushing teeth.
It wasn’t terrible and bound to happen some time, I ‘spose.
i seriously don't know why this bugs me. but i'm...
i'm killing myself trying to think of a theme for...
the fun part is, we don’t even need a theme.
i just don’t want to be taking 76 pictures a day for a full semester and say ‘here’s a ton of stuff.’
i’d like to get prints of some. have use. have meaning. something.
tomorrow:
Wake up at 6:45
Shower, dress nicely, eat breakfast
Photography for Nonmajors from 8:00 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.
Visit Shayne and Dan’s apartment on Mass Ave at 12:00 noon
Lunch with Jes at Panera on Boylston Street at 2:00 p.m.
Watch BKD perform at Huskies Gon’ Wild at 5 p.m.
Pasta, alfredo sauce & sausage at 5:30 p.m.

Oh, and do all of the reporting/calling...
currently:
Angelo is in West Village B finishing up office hours and then coming home.
Michael is making fun of EVERYONE on Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader.
Nicky is nervously agreeing.
Matt is silently laughing.
John is killing everything he can on his iPod app of Zombies.
I’m enjoying how this year is starting.

in a very calm and content mood.
Angelo and I went to bed at a reasonable time last night and managed to wake up on time too. And I got that extra five minutes in bed after waking up that takes away morning crankiness.
John had to be up for band rehearsal before convocation at 10 a.m. so he joined us for breakfast. I had the leftovers from my brunch yesterday at Pour House and he and Angelo had pancakes and waffles with some...

finishing the Fruits Basket manga tonight.
I just picked up volume 18 & 21 from Katrina, which were the only two I was missing, so I am marathoning the last five books in this series.
I can’t believe I’m so close to done. Wahhh.
turns out i saved $72.
The textbook that the Northeastern bookstore said I needed for Journalism 3 was listed as $80.00 used.
I found it online and ordered it for $8.
Well, just found out on Blackboard that we don’t need the book at all. I’ll read it anyway, but now I’m even happier with the deal I found.
Looking at the syllabus is making me really excited because we’ll be going into...

despite the fact i could've had way more money if...
I have over $1,800 saved up. WOOT.
so, i forgot to put away my shoes before angelo's...
the ONE pair of heels i have and can use were out in the living room. Nicely in a pile with the others, but still in view.
Each of the guys’ parents saw them and, as they told Angelo later, made silly assumptions.
Like wondering if Angelo was a girl RA. And, when they assured their parents he’s male, they asked if he was a cross dresser.
-insert giggles here-
last minute cleaning before the new roommates...
and Trash2Treasure with Clay at 10!
Fingers crossed, this will be a good day.
just saw jes and court.
OHMAN, it’s sinking in that we’re all in Boston. :3

When you have an hour to kill before leaving for work, things like this just make the time go by.
Damn, little kids are cute.
when you wake up at 6 a.m., it becomes an adele...
hot chocolate, a sweatshirt and comfy blanket, and three hours to kill before leaving for work.
if waking up this early isn’t dedication, i don’t know what is.

figures i'm sick on my day off from work and waste...
Seriously. I woke up and actually got out of bed around noon. Had breakfast. Dragged ass helping Angelo put up his door decs. Biked to Trader Joe’s and went grocery shopping. Had Wollaston’s for lunch and put away the groceries. Watched one episode of Battlestar and half an episode of Bones, then passed out for a four hour nap.
Just woke up and folded laundry and I’m so...
i counted it out today.
In July, I worked at boYO 18 out of 31 days. That’s 58% of the month.
In August, I worked at boYO 23 out of 31 days. That’s 74% of the month.
In two months, I worked 66% of the time.
I mean, numbers are silly and all, but that’s a lot of work at an $8/hour job…
